We are a team of four who founded Hi China Go, each bringing a different professional background.
Eugene is the owner of an educational company, Lesley is a PhD student in design, Jelena works as an operations specialist, and Lebel is an art teacher.
Despite these differences, we all share a common passion: travel.
This passion brought us together during a group tour, where we bonded over our stories and philosophies about travel.

Instead of taking photos amidst the crowds in Beijing's Forbidden City, we prefer to discover unique paths. Entering through a less frequented side gate leads us to hidden scenic spots.
Rather than buying food from overly commercialized snack streets, we delight in seeking out culinary treasures in unknown alleyways. We favor feeling the heartbeat of our destinations over rigid itineraries.
Whether it's conversing with locals, dining in their homes, or simply wandering the streets, these moments whisper the true essence of travel into our souls.
In 2021, we made a pivotal decision to launch a travel agency that offers experiences with warmth.
Inspired, over the next 3 years, Lesley journeyed through Europe, North America, Japan, and more, learning how travel is experienced in various cultures.
Meanwhile, Lebel and Eugene traversed every corner of China.
Beyond the existing city tours, they sought extraordinary experiences, exploring not just popular destinations like Beijing and Shanghai, but venturing to Yunnan, Guizhou, and Dunhuang.
We know which hidden paths lead to the summit of Qingcheng Mountain in Chengdu, where to spot wild pandas outside the famous bases, and the unique artists beneath Chongqing’s Stone Bridge.
Jelena dedicated herself to sharing our journey, engaging on both Chinese and international platforms, reaching out to partners, and weaving our narrative.
